New Construction Low Voltage Contractor

Low Voltage, Planned
Before The Walls Close.

Logic LC is a low-voltage subcontractor for new commercial buildings and tenant fit-outs. We work with general contractors, owners and project teams to plan and install structured cabling, fiber, security cameras, access control, network infrastructure and Wi-Fi as part of the construction schedule, not after it.

Bringing us in early is cheaper than bringing us in late. Once ceilings fill up with other trades’ work, a missed pathway or a closet in the wrong place becomes a much bigger job.

Working With Your GC And Project Team

We Fit Into
Your Schedule.

We coordinate the details that cause trouble on a job site: cable pathways, sleeves, trays and conduit, equipment locations, closet layouts and installation timing. We count devices, not just desks: workstations, access points, cameras, door controllers, phones, printers and conference-room equipment, each checked against the plans.

Before walls close, we walk the site with updated drawings and confirm endpoint locations, routes and closet layouts, so missing connections are fixed while access is still easy. Our planning checklist for new buildings walks through the same steps.

What coordination covers:
High-rise building under construction with a tower crane
Team meeting around a conference table in an office
Clear Scope, No Surprises

You Know What Is In
And What Isn’t.

The trouble with many low-voltage bids is what they leave out. Our proposals spell out the labor, materials, equipment, testing and documentation included. Items that vary by site are listed separately when they apply: lifts, permits, firestopping, conduit, core drilling, after-hours work, prevailing wages, network equipment and electrical work.

When a site condition changes the work, such as a blocked pathway, an unfinished network room, missing power or another trade running late, we document it, tell you what it affects and recommend a fix. Nothing outside the approved scope is billed without talking to you first.

Closeout And Handover

Labeled, Tested
And Documented.

Every cable is labeled at both ends unless your spec calls for something different. Runs are tested after installation, and when the scope includes it, we provide electronic certification reports. At closeout, we can provide test results, photographs, cable schedules, port information and closeout documentation, so the owner’s IT team is not left guessing on move-in day.

Handover includes:

Have Questions?

Frequently asked questions

What does a low-voltage subcontractor do on a new building?

We plan and install the cabling and systems that run on low-voltage power and data: structured cabling, fiber, network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, security cameras and access control. On a construction project, that means coordinating pathways, equipment locations and timing with the GC and other trades.

Early. Cabling, equipment locations, access control, security and network infrastructure should be considered while the building is still being designed, so they fit the plans instead of being worked around them.

Yes. We plan device locations with the people who will use each space, then install cabling, security and Wi-Fi around the tenant’s layout.

Our proposals list what is included. Items such as lifts, permits, firestopping, conduit, core drilling, after-hours work, prevailing wages, network equipment and electrical work are identified separately when they are required.

We document the condition, tell you how it affects safety, cost and schedule, and recommend a solution. Common examples are blocked pathways, unavailable network rooms, unfinished construction, missing power or delays by other trades.
